The Tiny House II

January 21, 2008

Like manna from the skies! More tiny houses, this time from the Lone Star State herself. Tiny Texas Houses, an offshoot company of Brad and Suzanne Kittel’s Discovery Architectural Antiques, a second-use building supplies shoppe, prefabricates one-of-a-kind homes made of 95% recycled materials. The Kittels manufacture these diminutive post-consumer abodes from reclaimed old-growth timber, antique cypress or pine siding, and period windows, doors, and hardware. All of the models hover around 200 square feet and include kitchenettes, sleeping lofts, and 3/4 baths.

Love this one, known as The Chapel:

Thanks to Kent at the Tiny House Blog for introducing me to Texas’ answer to Tumbleweed, et al.
