Time is on my side. Yes it is.

Clocks, clocks! Via Vintage Seattle, the big reveal of Ron Ketcherside’s Seattle clock walk, an on-foot tour of the historic clocks scattered throughout the city.

Now, you know I’m a sucker for history, and especially for Seattle history. This multitude of giant timepieces, many of which were installed around 1890 or thereabouts, is, according to Cliffe at Vintage Seattle, one of the largest collections of street clocks in the nation. Do you need a better reason than that?

So, if you’ve got a spare hour or two this weekend, and the sun isn’t too hot (ha, ha, funny. That’s funny, right?), then take a walk. The plus: You can leave your watch at home.
