Merry Christmas to all.

December 25, 2008

I have a gift for you! Just click the pic — snapped outside my door this week — for a (slightly ironic) tune, recorded especially for you from the snowbound Living Small house.

Merry Christmas, and Happy Smallidays.

Sigh. What a wonderful Christmas treat, you talented living smallers, you! Hope you’re having a very merry Christmas.

  2. Srsly? I’m completely in awe.

    Merries and happy boxing day!

  3. Thanks, girlies. I’m so glad you liked it; I had so much fun recording it. My baritone uke was glad to emerge from hibernation, too. Merries and merries to you!

Thank you!. Since we’ve watched nearly 50 inches of snow fall in the past week and a half, the “wonder” in “winter wonderland” has begun to fade. Your delightful song allowed us to envision warm, sunny beaches without a snow shovel in sight, at least for a few minutes. Merry Christmas to you!

Happy Christmas and Merry New Year, my friend. May it be filled with all the things you like most, things like friends, family, and bacon. Oh yes, bacon.

A very happy holidays to you! Am loving the snow pics. I can’t believe I missed the storm of the century (part of me is sad about this fact, the other part of me is really glad:-)

Here’s to a very sweet and small 2009!

  10. Linda: I believe I saw the pictures! Holy moly! Glad you could escape for a little while to Christmas Island.

Jonathan: Well, I’m on the veggie bacon wagon, but I do love it. Case in point: the Christmas Day breakfast Mr. made — vegetarian quiche Lorraine. Happy New Year to you!

kristina: Wow! Your dogs are gorgeous, especially in all that snow. And the tree pics are so beautiful. Thanks for sharing the link. And thanks for noticing the new masthead. I’m going to leave it up through the end of winter, I think.

Demelza: Thank you for nominating me; I’m honored! You’re so kind. Let’s keep our fingers crossed — how nice it would be to win a Homie. Thanks for listening to the song. Glad you liked it. :)

Tea: You totally missed it! It was beyond belief here in Seattle; all that snow. It’s almost gone now. All I have left is an overstuffed ePhoto album filled with more snow pics that I can shake a ski pole at. Happy New Year to you and yours — tamales soon?
